Blood is the health meter. A playthrough states it directly: the health gained at the sit spot is the blood, and every base mosquito has to be fed from that personal pool. The same number is your resistance when a field mosquito hits you.
Two ways it refills
- Sit on the life seat and stay. Every base starts with a level-1 seat. The on-screen number climbs while you sit.
- Wait. Regeneration continues even while a mosquito is draining you. It is slower than a upgraded seat.
You cannot bank blood as an item, carry vials, or move it to another plot. Read the number, then spend it where you stand.
Rates that were actually on screen
| Seat form | Stated refill |
|---|---|
| Starter chair, level 1 | Not quoted |
| Toilet, called toilet IV in one run | Not quoted; described as a clear jump in blood gained |
| Bathtub-shaped hot tub | Rate not quoted. About 15,000 cash bought one mid-chain step that became this shape |
| Bench | 40 health per second |
| Couch | 80 health per second |
| Bed | Purchased in footage; per-second gain not stated |
Two sessions did not buy an identical ladder. One account of the chain is chair, toilet, vase, bathtub, bench, bed. Another is chair, toilet IV, hot tub, bench, couch, bed. A later step even produced another couch, and a player talked about leveling the bed further, so the chain does not have a filmed ending. Read the prompt on your station. The seat page keeps the purchase order that was actually followed.
Paid 5x or 8x multipliers are mentioned in one video without a shown effect on blood gain. Do not budget around them.
When to stop sitting
Stop when the number covers the next feed or the next boss, not when it hits a universal target. Session quotes include about 56, 600, and 150,000 health. Those are moments in a run. The Housewife guess of about 500 health failed at about 150. A 2,000-health field mosquito was beatable with the broom only after the player had more health, because each hit drained the player very fast.
If a feed empties you, sit and retry. That is the whole recovery.
